About the Opportunity

Help welcome community members to the Atlanta Beltline Housing Fair, a collaborative event hosted by the Atlanta Beltline Partnership and Atlanta Beltline, Inc. The Housing Fair connects Atlanta residents with housing resources, educational workshops, and organizations that can help them navigate affordable housing opportunities, homeowner resources, and community programs.

As an Event Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for attendees while supporting event operations throughout the day. Whether you're greeting guests, directing traffic, or assisting inside the event space, you'll play an important role in helping community members access valuable information and services.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Welcome attendees as they arrive.
• Direct vehicles and pedestrians to the appropriate entrances and parking areas.
• Help answer basic event questions and provide directions.
• Maintain a safe and organized arrival experience.
• Assist with wayfinding throughout the venue.
• Serve as an information runner or provide general event support as needed.
• Assist with light setup or breakdown tasks if needed during your shift.

What to Wear

• Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather
• Closed-toe shoes
• Volunteer shirt (provided on-site if applicable)

• Refillable water bottle
• Fully charged cell phone
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist community members

Lunch will be provided for volunteers. No prior experience is necessary- just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help make this community event a success.
